1 Year of russian full-scale war against Ukraine
The Ukrainian Association of Florida is organizing a rally to highlight the ongoing brutality perpetrated by russia against our peaceful and democratic nation.
On 24th February 2022, russia invaded Ukraine without reason or provocation. Since then they have caused immeasurable damage to our homeland and killed hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian civilians including families and children.
For one year, Ukraine has fought heroically to defend itself and Europe against this terrorist state that is #terrorussia. And we will prevail. But we need your support.
We call upon the people of Florida for your much needed moral support.
Please join us on 24 February 2023 at 5:00 pm for a rally followed by a march through the downtown.

The aggressor country (russia), which violates all the norms of the modern world and in a strange way still occupies a chair in the UN Security Council and the UN itself, unfortunately, only understands the language of force. Therefore, today’s russia can only be stopped by the victory of the Ukrainian army on the battlefield in Ukraine. For this, let's unite with the world, with each other, and with like-minded people!

Keep Ukraine Warm

In July 2022, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) warned that “the worst winter since the independence of Ukraine” is expected and, as a result, funds are needed to prepare at-risk communities as the temperature may drop as low as -20 degrees Celsius (-4 degrees Fahrenheit). And millions of people are without heat and electricity. Many have also lost all their possessions, including warm clothing for winter.
The “KEEP UKRAINE WARM” Campaign is directed at: wood-burning stoves ($135.00 per unit) – for hospitals, centers, homes, winter relief items such as clothing, blankets, sleeping bags, windows for winter (varied per unit) – for homes that are damaged from shelling. Hundreds of wood-burning stoves need to warm the houses of elderly Ukrainians.
Windows in the homes of single moms and their kids need to be repaired so they can stay in their homes this winter.
Friends, cruel and unprovoked war is happening in Ukraine today. We all follow the news constantly. I am sure that all future generations will know our struggle and future victory. But we should also not forget the past tragedies that our glorious Ukrainian nation has endured. Therefore, I invite you to a rally on November 26 at 6 p.m. in Boca Raton, at the Garden of Humanity, near the genocide memorial.
